I'm wondering whether my fitting is right or with some error. The decay is very finely fitted with a lifetime of 20 microsecond. Is it possible for a lifetime that decay to zero around 50 micro second, to give a lifetime as much as 20 microsecond after fitting?

Have you plotted the graph using Log 10 scale? Is it single exponential or multi exponential? Difficult to give comment unless we know whether it is single or multi exponential decay.
Can you share the decay curve with fitting data?

Thanks for your comments. The graph is fitted in Log 10. And it is biexponential. And residual is also a nice straight line.
In addition to the previous comments, I would like to know what kind of instrument did you use to measure it. Because if the lamp profile (prompt, instrument response function) is too large, unless you are using a dedicated software, it might give an erroneous lifetime. We can give a better suggestion if you are willing to share the data.
I'm using using OB920 and excitation source is laser, its not a lamp.
