What is the level of compliance to these published standards in textile museums and what is the impact of this compliance on museum budget and infrastructure?
I have a connection to some outdoor and landscape museums. Many of these types of museums rely on government funding which has to be managed very tightly to cover all costs and goals for the site. The grounds, including recontructions of historical gardens and other living heritage, are kept predominantly by volunteers. Because of the currect restrictions, these volunteers are unable to tend to their work. This means an interruption in the upkeep and developement of the sites. Of course, this setback will be remedied once people are once again allowed to visit these museums.
