Hello Respected Researchers, I want to generate a structure hexahedral mesh for my vortex tube model in Gambit. When i make a whole volume of vortex tube. And directly apply Cooper algorithm, Hex/Wedge Scheme...it partially meshes the model but leaves some faces. Although I always select parallel faces for cooper scheme requirements.
When i split it into three volumes, then meshing the tangential inlet volume shows high skewed elements

for gambit meshing, the method which will allow you to to generate a structure hexahedral mesh for your vortex tube , is to first mesh the surfaces first, then the volume if you proceed directly to mesh the volume some surfaces will not be meshed.
