Personally, I am concerned about what I perceive as an increasing disregard for the humanities and natural resources in the current race for global dominance. I am currently researching theory surrounding the applicability and benefits of a complex adaptive system founded on holistic intelligence that serves as a permanent spiritual guide. Intuitively, this research continues to encounter parallels concerning the state of long-term preservation of human and natural resources, especially intellectual assets in the former greatly affected by degradation in the latter. I will value your thoughts.
Looking ahead, some might argue that the increased use of robotics in the work force may allow more time for development of the humanities and increased allowance of time spent in research in the humanities.

Interesting thoughts and challenging research. First I say that, developed countries are beginning to re-consider the natural resources because it is limited and difficult to renew. Whereas in the past, developed countries have used third world countries as the target of natural resources exploitation. After an independent third world state, its government policy tends to continue the thinking of developed countries that exploit natural resources to meet the needs of state financing. Until one day, developed countries feel disturbed and began to emerge various global policies that lead to the utilization of natural resources for preservation into the future. At the same time, third world countries are struggling to exploit natural resources but then become "hampered" by international / global policies. The question is, is it fair ?. I do not know the exact answer. However, in the development to date dilemma of natural resource utilization smeakin sharp due to the number of residents of third world countries continues to increase without being arrested. Inevitably the policy then began to change to the conservation of natural resources for the next generation. So glimpse the picture of our condition with the battle of the interests of exploitation and sustainability. That's what I can say, thank you.
Just imagine you have been working on some areal of land for generations, handed down to you from your own grandparents, as they were handed down before you, and some local government offical comes along to tell you that you have to move. Because the land was given out on a licence issued by the central government to some Global partner wanting to erect a raw materials supply plantation there, for a fraction of the cost if they would have to buy it commercially. And you have nothing to defend yourself because you are illiterate and have never seen any property papers, simply because there was never any need for them, though your clan elders told you from birth this is your country. This already answers 75% of your question. Now figure out how many administrations in how many countries this could apply to.
