I spent half of my PhD there (20 years ago) and I can tell you that the town itself (which is extremely small, I think around 40k people at the most) is very welcoming and people there are quite open, tolerant and accustomed to dealing with people from all parts of the world.
Sir, your research arena is super interesting and FAO is highly emphasizing on these issues. You will get huge opportunities in various American universities. Even, University of Reading (UK) might be a better option for your domain

(2019) in journal Ecological Indicators have concluded that 1) there is a negative bidirectional relationship between climate change and agricultural yields; 2) there is a negative bidirectional causal relationship between climate change and sustainable agriculture; 3) conventional agriculture negatively affects sustainable agriculture. It seems Sustainable Agriculture, Organic Farming, and Sustainability and balance in all aspects of lives is very important for all countries, especially in Asia. Organic life should be considered in all aspects of life. Balance is essential.
