I am currently working on islanding detection and control in distributed generations. I would kindly ask that you recommend a real-time simulation tool that helps me in this study. I have tried using MATLAB but it keeps freezing and slowing work for me. The simulation tool should be fairly easy to use but robust so that I can get the needed components for modeling the islanding phenomenon and simulate it.
