Is phytochemical screening a first approach to knowing antibacterial effects or neuropharmacological effects of marine algae extracts? Can this first approach be used as a crop policy for some kind of algae?
Habitat conditions can affect our concentrations of some substance in algae. Is it possible that we have implemented a policy of cultivating a specific algae and then in the tests we do not find the same result as in natural environments?
