Hello, I would like to know if you could help me with something. I would like to know if you could provide me some articles regarding the following question: which is the time needed to a Culex mosquito to show some physiological response? I mean, for instance, if I want to evaluate the effect of temperature or photoperiod, how much time I need to acclimate them until I can observe a physiological change, such as a difference in fecundity or fertility? I could test some variable (such the last one I mentioned) but I maybe could note no change because the missing of necessary time to observe such change. I want to correct and avoid this problem in my emperiments. I know there isn't a specific time of X days, but if you could recommend me some articles on this topic I would be very grateful. Greeting, Kevin.

PS: I am working with Culex quinquefasciatus
