I am in the process of writing a Ph.D. proposal and my aim is to write in the immersive technology field (VR, AR, MR, XR).
having a master's in MIS I am uncertain about whether to go for the application of immersive technology in marketing or in the health sector.
Which one do you think has more sustainability and future?
Is there another sector you recommend?
any recommended work to read or academician to follow?
any project to join?
It is an immersive technology field (VR, AR, MR, XR). It is a promising field and many companies seek to support technology in the field of shopping, but researchers must take another curve for application, such as the medical field and education, especially since there are specializations that need this type of technology and it is not known where to start
Consider which area is most interesting to you and which area you would most like to work in after receiving your degree.
Both sound good, or education or combine with artificial intelligence :)
