PhD candidate wanted... I am looking for someone who has a strong interest in submerged mycelia production. The emphasis is on mycoprotein synthesis using Qld carbon sources (sugarcane-derived or distillery residue) with interest in beneficial secondary metabolites. Potential to integrate solid state fermentation if this can generate novel high-value food products or create novel fibre composites.
