I am interested in the effectiveness of behavior models and competency models in the context of personnel development and performance assessment. From both a scientific and practical perspective, there are various advantages and disadvantages associated with both approaches.

In your view, what are the pros and cons of behavior models and competency models? Do you have any experiences with either of these approaches that you could share? Which approach do you prefer, and why?
