PDLA medical implant sticks to the mold, what to do?

Hi,

How can I avoid my medical implant made of PDLA to not stick to the mold during compression molding process?

What is your mom's made of? The two simplest answers would be to a) Polish the mold to a mirror shine, and b) use some sort of mold release our coating agent on each half of the mold. I'd suggest using a PTFE based coating since your polymer has a melting point between 150-170! If you're unable to polish the mold to >1000 grit finish
