well the gel and ladder are working well so your pcr is failing. What are the annealing temperatures of the primers and what is the pcr cycle that you are using. How much dna are you amplifying and have you checked the od260.280 of the dna. how many cycles are you running?. Can you borrow a dna sample that has amplified for one of your colleagues and run this sample. Are the primers new or old and how much primer are you using?

Did you use the appropriate annealing temperature of your primers which usually should be ~ 5°C below the Tm depending on the length and composition of the primers? If you do so and your PCR reaction still failed, try to use new primer pair.

well, when your pcr is not working there is definately a problem with one of the ingredients in your reaction, and you have to check each one with a control. start with using a DNA sample that you are sure about its quality, in this case, if you didn't get any result, there is probably a problem with either your master mix(if you are using a kit)or your primers. i suggest you run your stock primers on an agarose gel to see if they have been properly synthesized. if you see a sharp band on the gel then you can increase the concentration of your primers. some other factors could affect your result including the annealing temperature you set, the number of cycles, and the length of your product (if your product is too long you need to increase the time of the extension step and also the cycles)
