I need the saturation vapor pressure of FeO, CaO, MgO, SiO in the temperature range of 1500~2000K. Usually, it can be expressed in the form of the Antoine equation (log10 P = A+B/(T+C)). Could anyone help with the parameters (A, B, C) in the equation?
Some literature reported that it could be found or interpreted from chemical-physical handbook ( CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, NIST dataset, etc), I could find the parameters for pure substances (Fe, Ca, Mg, Si) but not all the compounds.
You should to know that Solid Vapor Pressure (SVP) and vapor pressure under liquid (VP) are different. For FeO, CaO, MgO no experimental values or satisfactory prediction method available to measure it.
VP for SiO2, equation in form: Y=exp(A+B/T+C*ln(T)+D*T^E), where Y = VP, Pa; T = temperature, K; A=1,7979E+02; B=-7,7310E+04; C=-1,7657E+01; D=3,2595E-21; E=6. Equation is valid between 1696 and 2503,2 K. Error less than 10%.
SVP for SiO2,form of equation is the same, coefficients are: A=9,0978E+00, B=-2,0027E+04; C=0; D=0; E=0. Valid in 1273,15-1473,15 K. Error less than 10%.
Good to know that solid vapor pressure is different from liquid vapor pressure. I am not an expert in that field. Would you mind providing references for the VP and SVP of SiO2? I really appreciate that. @ Vladimir Golubev
