So i am currently trying to do an organic extraction of dried papaya seeds using 80% methanol. Following the protocol of certain journal (Amazu et al) i am drying the papaya seeds 5 days prior, and rinsing it in 80% methanol for 48 hours. I haven't been able to achieve semisolids once pouring it on an erlenmeyer while heating it on 30°C. Drying overnight via oven on the same temperature also seem doesn't provide any residues left to scrape.

Any suggestions or help to troubleshoot?
