I am preparing to freeze-drying GO suspensions in different solvents.

We are working with Christ Alpha 2-4LDPlus freeze dryier with CRVPro4 [WELCH] pump.

System is prepared for organic solvents so no acrylic part.

We do not possess LN2 trap.

So the question is, may I use t-butanol, phenol and cyclohexanon?

I have no clear information related to phenol and cyclohexanone.

I found information about cyclohexanone here:

I guess N in line related to LN2 trap means not needed. However, vapours are flammable, flash point is ~44 °C and pump is usually hot so I dont know if it is safe.

In case of t-buOH I found one paper (https://doi.org/10.1002/jps.10113) with similar ingredient.

Still have no information about Phenol. I would not like to cause some damage.

If anyone have some experience and could enlight me I would be grateful.

Best regards.
