I am working on cancer immunotherapy using orthotopically implanted NSG mice model. As you know, NSG mice are so sensitive to stress including anti-cancer drug (5-FU) so I want to strike a happpy medium between anti cancer effect and side effect. As far as I searched, single administration of 5-FU 10mg/kg could moderately kill xenografts and minimize the influence on neutrophils. Does anyone have any knowledge about this matter ?

I checked on how to convert human dose to mice basedon surface area.
The paper (doi: 10.4103/0976-0105.177703) tells rougly mice dose is ten times more than human dose.
