I agree with Gustavo Chalier . If such foretelling is correct then let the exegetes see a future bad events and prevent it . According to their claim the Gulf war and many other catastrophes were predicted ! So why were they silent before these crisis and no action taken to stop these disasters ?
You are right, Abdul-Sahib Hasani: the problem with all these prophecies is that they can only be analyzed (and understood in their entirety) post eventum.
As they are not formulated in clear language and never say, for example: "In this year there will be a war in East Asia or earthquake in Southern Europe", always a connection is sought with a known fact that to be known, had that have already happened.
The value of these prophecies, therefore, is null.
