Today, approximately five percent of the French population is non-European and non-white. This means that it targets virtually no policies directly at racial or ethnic groups. Instead, it uses geographic or class criteria to address issues of social inequalities. The brunt of migration in 2022 came from Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia, Turkey, ivory Coast and Senegal. However without ethnicity as a marking point, the problems of this type of immigration policy is obvious. So what is the issue?. Classification on geographic location ignores the impact of religious congressional impact and leads to formation of ghettos. Due to a particular religion expanding too rapidly, within the core indigenous population, any religious adverse incident globally ignites the passion of such migrants and results in complete breakdown of law and order. The 2005 French riots as well as the recent 2023 were due to religious support of the same minority group following same religion. Due to this finally the French President introduced a bill to toughen immigration laws which probably comes a decade too late for France and its people.
