How do learners and teachers perceive online learning environments, learning resources, technologies?

Learning resources that are used in the education of university students are often available online. The nature of new technologies causes an interweaving of formal and informal learning, with the result that a more active role is expected from students with regard to the use of ICT for their learning. The variety of online learning resources (learning content and learning tools) facilitates informed use and enables students to create the learning environment that is most appropriate for their personal learning needs and preferences.
At our University we have many online recourses for the students. One I would like to point out is online real time teaching with student groups up to 15 students. This gives a personal face to face teaching. With some basic rules the attention and dialogue is strong in these classes are strong. All the faces of the students show and only one student or teacher can speak at a time. It solves a major problem with small courses in Norway were sometimes the students can live more that 1500km appart.
Online Resources contain a variety of full-text magazines, newspapers and journals and reference materials to support the education and research needs. This information should be from reliable sources that provide accurate information and teacher must identify them.
Online Resources contain alot of interesting & helpful materials ex books, ppt, graphs,videos,images. You can find whatever you search about with just a click.
My experience is about taking online course. I highly recommend Udemy & coursera.
I didnot find any cultural differences as sharing ideas from different backgrounds is really very helpful. I only find that the different topics are very simple which is very difficult in practical as i think that simple is a beauty.
