I am a research scholar in Biotechnology. I have got the values in standard deviation like
165.8±1.641. I would like to know how to calculate the significant values using one way ANOVA followed by dunnett’s post hoc test using SPSS software. Can you please explain to me sir because for certain values the significant values has been calculated but for certain the significant values has not been calculated. If possible can you please step by step on carrying this work.
1) Your "data sheet" is so abstruse that is absolutely not clear a) what design you have (on factor, multiple factors, between-within design..9) nor b) what dependent or idenpendent variables are... and you didnt even explain it in your question, so what should we do with this "mess" (sorry for the harsh words)
2) I think this is not the right forum to teach basic statistics and provide step by step explanations. Please read a introductory book on statistics AND consult your local statistician to help you with the data.

I agree with Rainer that knowing what specific test(s) you have in mind is not at clear here, and consulting with a local expert is a good idea.
What I will tell you is, if you have group sample sizes (N), group means (M) and group standard deviations (SD), then you can in fact evaluate a one-way anova and many (but not all) post hoc options.
Attached is an excel spreadsheet which can (given the group summary statistics) compute both the ordinary ANOVA and two "robust" versions as well (the Welch and Brown-Forsythe methods).

The basic requirement for performing an ANOVA, is the availability of the raw data for the variables under study. With the raw data entered into SPSS sheet, you can perform one way ANOVA. If you do not have access to the raw data, it is difficult to perform one way ANOVA.
However, with the mean, SD and n (number of observations) available for each variable, separately , with the back calculation of the sum and the sum of squares from mean and SD formula, to a great extent ANOVA can be performed.
Once I did this for the data given to me by a scientist to me. Incidentally, he had no raw data but the information related to mean,SD and n, only was available with him for the different variables .
