Nuclear Physics:

Among the isotopes of the Nickel, the Ni 58 is the most abundant (68% of the natural isotopes). However, the isotope Ni 62 (only 3.6% of the natural isotopes) is the most stable nuclide (binding energy per nucleon) of all the existing elements. At first glance, this seems contradictory. How to explain this?
