I've been having issues with finding a reliable housekeeping protein for normalizing my cytoplasmic & nuclear protein fraction (from H202-injured cells) western blots to. I've checked the archives & looks like ponceauS right after transfer might be one of the most reliable things I could do. So far I have tried bactin (cyto & nuclear), histone, lamin, atubulin (nuclear) all with variable results. Though I plan to do PonceauS from now on, any suggestions on what I could try with my existing blots?

Appreciate any and every suggestion!
