Dear All,
Does anyone have any idea why a rocking spring (substituting foundation) with assigned Bouc-Wen model behave in a Nonlinear Elastic way (the attached) while it's expected to show energy dissipation in hysteresis loops? The model is developed in OpenSees.
Any comments is appreciated.

It is really very important to highlight the units involved in the figure, as told by the Mohammed Lamine Moussaoui . In a relationship between force versus displacement, it is possible to highlight the nonlinear characteristic of stiffness and the effect of hysteresis, as shown in the figure (attachment).
