Non linear regression on Mean Opinion Score (MOS) to analyse Pearson correlation for Image Quality Assessment purposes (IQA)?

I am working on Image Quality Assessment (IQA) and need to validate my results on Pearson Correlation score (PLCC). For that, I need to have a non-linear regression model on the mean opinion score (MOS). I got many paper giving an expression for the same with 5 variables which needed to be set. Can anyone help me how to set these variables with an example? Any suggestion on Matlab based will be deeply appreciated... Thank You... (ATTACHING A PAPER WHERE IT IS USED, PLEASE REFER EQUATION 12 IN PAGE 2382)
