The activation energy required for wheat husk pyrolysis was higher with catalyst than with out using catalyst. The Activation energy was calculated by using Iso-conversional methods. Could any one help me in acquiring any possible references to support my statement that the result can be possible.

Yes, The catalyst used was Na2ZrO3... We used TGA for pyrolysis
I will try to answer as follows. The basic problem is what we mean by activation energy. It is worth remembering that the activation energy concerns a single reaction (in fact an elementary reaction). Here we are dealing with a complex process (thermal decomposition associated with phase transitions), and therefore what we call activation energy, the value of which was determined using the isoconversionl method, in fact the energy of activation is not. It is a coefficient in the equation, having limited physical meaning . In addition, the value of kinetic parameters is influenced not only by the method used but also by the software. So it should not be expected that the presence of a catalyst will lower the value of the activation energy as in the case of a single chemical reaction. It can, but it can not. so called Regards,:
