i am working on turbine simulation. can you tell me why my power graph is straight . i used this expression Power=torque*omega i also put the value(omega) but not answered? torque graph is showing here(rightly) Also, my solution in not converged? what can be reason?
If your power graph is appearing as a straight line and your solution is not converging, it's may be an Inadequate Mesh Resolution
Ensure that your mesh is sufficiently refined, particularly in areas of high velocity gradients or turbulence, such as near the turbine blades.
Sadiki Zakariae Dear Now i used 2D model of savonius wind turbine but same issue is appearing it has been convergent Fastly around 100 (i put 1000 titration ) still power graph is straight????
Does Ansys know what torque is? Did you define it properly?
Even Moment force will give the same result as torque
Even in your plot, the power unit is defined as joules.
