I have done Simple Linear regression in R language and I am looking at Multiple R-squared value And Adjusted R-squared value respectively. Can someone help me with:
1. When to use Multiple R-squared value and when to use Adjusted R-squared value?
2. What is the difference between two? (I am also looking at google and if found something, I'll post with references)

The difference between your Multiple R-squared value and the Adjusted R-squared value is that the adjusted takes the number of predictors in the model into consideration and adjusts the R-squared value according to the number of predictors - thus making it a more valid metric compared to multiple R-squared which only increases when you add predictors to the model.
