I want help regarding writing udfs.
My problem is basically regarding liquid sloshing. I want to simulate sloshing phenomenon in a rectangular tank having two types of motion.
1-sinusoidal velocity input {F=A Sin(wt)} for different amplitudes and different time steps.
2-tank having sudden collision or impact force or when earthquake comes.
We have done this for automotive tanks recently. The software was AVL FIRE, you have an option to apply VOF of to use standard Euler-Euler two fluid method. Transient BC of any kind can be easily applied.
sir i am doing it in ANSYS FLUENT. i also applied transient boundary conditions but there is not any movement showing in movement of water. not able to understand where actually is problem coming.
In that sense I will be of little help. As mentioned, with another tool we haven't had any issues.

are you sending air or some gas into the water ?
