Which data collection method is recommended for doing research related to project management of energy saving projects?
I think that depends on your research question and research strategy.
My main task is to collect data of energy saving projects keeping in focus the project challenges in different implementation phase and to relate it with project management.
It could be either qualitative or quantitative (or even both), depending really on what you want to achieve.
