H am working on damask to run the simulation for phenomenological crystal plasticity spectral solver. Actually one problem i am facing regarding the convergence criteria in damask, i have studied damask documentation for phenomenological crystal plasticity, the material state is defined by the critical resolved shear stress if i am correct, the convergence criteria is reached when resolved shear stress reaches to the initial critcial resolved shear stress. but when i run the simulation by giving the same initial critical resolved shear to all slip system in case of fcc lattice structure, i am monitoring the simulation, although the resolved shear stress reaching to the initial critical resolved shear stress but still simulation is ongoing and rss going down the initial crss. Can somebody have some informtion about this that why this is happening? Does this depend on the number of total increments and total time? if that is the case then after certain number of increments the status of the variable should not change when it reaches to the equilibrium level. but i am not getting that.
