Hi, have anyone seen or done a VARTM experiment without using a mold before? We want to study the effect of tool-part interaction effect. So far, I can only find resources on using a foam as core. But I am looking forward to manufacturing a L-shape part using the L-shape mold but the preform is covered by vacuum bags front and back. So there is no comforming force due to vacuum pressing the part down on the mold to secure its shape. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.
