The one diode model is widely accepted to model the perovskite solar cells. Exactly like silicon solar cells it has five parameters: The reverse saturation current Is, the ideality factor n, the series resistance Rs, the shunt resistance Rsh and the short circuit photocurrent Iph. The ideality factor is about 2 for the perovskite solar cell as it is a pin structure.

degradation can be expressed in decreasing Iph, increasing Rs and Is with time according to the degradation scenario.

Of course, in the theory developed by me in above given paper i proved that one can commonly use the one-diode model with its five parameters to model also the bulk heterojunction solar cells. Also, here the ideality factor is about 2 and the reverse saturation currents are normally greater than that of the perovskite solar ells. Only in bad fabricated solar solar cells with fabrication deficiencies, or nonohmic metallic contacts the model of the solar cells gets more complicated. This also is hinted in the above paper.
