I am trying to model a crushable foam in ABAQUS. for material model, I have compression test data (engineering strain-stress). Is there anybody who can help me which formulation I should use to convert eng. stress to true stress and plastic strain and to define crushable model parameters from test data?
I attached eng. stress strain data from experiments test.

I thought the yield strength of crushable foams is pressure dependent? So the yield functions to define the material has deviatoric and hydrostatic stresses that needs to be considered. I do not think you can use simple compression test data to define crushable foam models in Abaqus. A typical test will only give you compressive yield strength to determine an elastic-plastic material model, but you need to define hydrostatic properties. To do that, you need to do tests which are a bit more complex with the material constrained in all directions.
