Hello,

I'm working on drug delivery involving microfluidic double emulsions production and I'm looking for a way to monitor the production of the droplet in live to be able to get the frequency, and the inner/outer diameter of the emulsion produced in real time, in order to change the flow and reach the aimed dimensions.

I used a system involving lasers, PMT and fluorophores before but I was wondering if it was possible to develop an homemade softwre/system on the brightfield images using an high speed camera couplet with ImageJ + Matlab or R.

Has anyone done something similar before, and can help me or give me advices to develop it ? Do you think the real time aspect can work with the high speed camera in brightfield ? Is Matlab more suitable for this (I'm pretty familiar with R/Shiny but not with Matlab) or is there any other software that can be used for this application ?

Many thanks for your help,

Best,

Romain
