Any one can suggest some related ideas on the basis of gut microbiome, as i am having interest in it.. i am looking for one of my objective in microbiome study for my PhD thesis..
Too many options- as manipulation of human microbiome can be potentially used to treat pretty much any disease. Check papers and reviews by: Rob Knight, Sarkis Mazmanian, Christopher Mason
This is a very interesting question. I believe it’s. However, fully understanding the role of gut microbiome in human health is still limited due to many difficutiles and confounding factors involved. I think you may need to narrow down your research, find out the available resources in all kind of aspects (e.g techniques, finance etc.). Gut microbiome primary acts on SCFA, 2nd bile duct acids, miRNA mechanism or immune system and actually it still have more mechanism than that with many involved pathways from gut-brain axis, gut-lung, gut-liver. Hope you find some useful points here
