While going through the haplotype diversity of C57Bl6 and BalbC I noticed that the later has all three haplotypes H2-K, H2-D, and H2-L for MHC-I and both I-A and I-E for MHC-II but C57Bl6 mice lack H2-L and I-E. The question is how does it impact the T cell response? I can imagine that a reduction in MHC haplotype diversity will reduce the diversity of epitope recognition and thus an overall reduction in T cell immune response in C57Bl6 compared to Balbc.

Please let me know if there is any relevant literature regarding this aspect. Or please share your thoughts on this.

Thank you very much in anticipation
