Which features of the cloud formations visible on your picture strike you as unusual or anomalous? There is no known causal connection between seismographic activity and cloud formation on the spatio-temporal scales you are referring to.

The form of clouds presented in this thread is indeed quite interesting but I’m not sure if it is unique to arthquakes because I see very similar clouds during my daily walks in the forest. For example, I have attached a picture taken today just before the noon. The photo looks like the halo effect associated with the presence of fine aerosol particles in the atmosphere. After reading your question and many associated papers I have developed some doubts but it is still not easy the accept the theory that such a thin cloud could have any role as a herald of an earthquake.
