Hi, I am working on a project about spatial ability. Could you please help me get access to this test: Mental rotation test by Vandenberg and Kuse (1978), or the 24-item MRT by Peters et al, (1995).
You can contact Michael Peters about this who has redrawn the original Vandenberg and Kuse test. Please note it is vitally important to keep the test safe and not to let it circulate freely, as test results are confounded if participants gain experience with the test. For this reason, Michael will ask for assurances that you keep the test safe.
Michael's address is:
Michael Peters, PhD, University Professor Emeritus Neuroscience and Applied Cognitive Sciences University of Guelph
I'm sure you can find his email address on the web.
(The MRT version that I know has 3 parts: Part 1 is the instructions, (containing the objective and mode of resolution). Part 2 and 3 contains 10 questions each. Typically, each application takes 5 minutes).
We will provide the test and the necessary instructions to researchers (graduate students and faculty only) without charge. Please note that the test is copyrighted and that individuals and institutions who provide the test (cf. reference by Solange Cailet) violate copyright agreements.
Hi! Have you received the instrument of MRT for your research now? I also need this instrument for my dissertation, but I do not know how to get this instrument. Thanks.
