Hi everybody,
I am looking for any report of memory span (number of items that subjects can hold in their short term memory) in non-primate animals.
I would be very grateful for any suggestion.
Look up corvids (e.g. crows, jays, magpies, ravens). They have amazing memories. Also parrots.
What are the advantages of working memory theory (Baddeley & Hitch, 1974) over Atkinson and Shiffrin model of memory (1968)? Why the working memory theory was necessary?
