Hi

Dear All,

I prepared the extract of fish larvae whole body with PBS. Then protein concentration of the whole-body extraction samples determined by the Folin-Ceiocalteu-Phenol method (Lowry et al., 1951) . But for measuring Total immunoglobulin whole-body extraction samples using the Lowry method, with modification by Siwicki and Anderson ( 1994 ), according to the following article:

Dietary intake of immunostimulants by rainbow trout affects non-specific immunity and protection against furunculosis

For Total immunoglobulin When I add Folin-Ceiocalteu, the solution becomes turbid. what is the reason? What solutions would you recommend for solving this problem?

It should be noted that I performed this test three times with polyethylene glycol 6,000, 8,000 and 10,000 kDa, and in all cases the solution was turbid.

Thank you very much for your help.
