My friend is doing a marketing research for a company producing a range of toiletries. Currently they want to know whether it is worthwhile to invest more money on R&D to improve ingredients of their toiletries. They plan to do in-depth interviews, but prior to that, they need to identify population with biggest safety concerns. Is there any existing measurement tools to identify this population? Or is it better that the researchers come up with their own tools so as to pinpoint a better direction?
