Dear All,

It appears to me that commercial (e.g. Edmund Optics) light (including NIR upto 900nm) power meters are for measuring powers of 100mW and above. In many optical spectroscopy techniques powers much below this is used, where e.g. in RAman spectroscopy mW powers are common. Are there commercially available meters that can provide this absolute accuracy? Previously I have used a high power calibration (0.5 W) and scaled down to low power, thus, assuming a linear relation of the optical system. Can we do better than this by some means? I was thinking of using some photopolymer, but not sure how well standardized they are in the 800 nm range.

Best regards
