Scientific Integrity comes first.
In my field of Medicine, scientific integrity and honesty are the basis for patient-treatment plans and the prevention of diseases.
The absence of trustworthiness or the lack of rigorous peer-review processes may hinder the quality of research publications and therefore, impact the sacred lives of patients.
Journals under MDPI and the journal Cureus have been receiving lots of scrutinity and debate on their validity as reliable scientific journals which adhere with the basic scientific principles of research and peer review.
They're notorious for their speedy (and a bit shady) peer review process.

What are your unbiased and fair thoughts - dear experienced researchers & science enthusiasts - on such journals & publishers?
Should one be wary of them?
Thank you all for your input beforehand.
