The conservation of mass is not satisfied in the fluent VOF simulation, so please help me.
I am running a two phase VOF simulation kind of spray simulation composed of air inlet and water inlet. The mass flow rate at pressure outlet is not same as inlet, having more variation compared to inlet.
The mass flow rate at inlet is not conserved in the pressure outlet.
I have recently Completed a work on air atomized mist jet cooling and i hope you are working on same.it can be done easily with fluent but you have to be good at basic mathematical calculations.

I hope you are discussing about the fully converged solution. All other variables converged except the mass flow rate.

I think conservation of mass flow rate sir
Inlet mass flow rate = pressure outlet mass flow rate.
but i am not getting pressure outlet mass flow rate same as inlet sir

What is the reason for the situation "All variables converged except the mass flow rate" for multiphase flow?
I am doing Fluent simulations for air-assisted water jet in submerged condition. The result contours seem to be reasonable, but mass conservation is 1E-2 only.
My case is resulting in unsteady flow. Maybe due to Rayleigh–Taylor instability. Outlet (pressure boundary) is with back flow of water (submerged). So obtained mass imbalance in the domain is high.
