Protein carbonyl content is the mostly employed marker for oxidative damage. Protein turnover seems to be a old parameter used for the similar pupose. Morphological damage is a good indicator but quantitative data cannot be obtained. Is there any other better marker for oxidative damage in Oligodendrocytes.......MnSOD levels also being another one.

I wanted to know if PCC is still the best or something you have tried have yielded better results....please pass on your experiences.
