Nope! But at least you will be at the dead centre of what goes on at cemeteries!
More seriously, while I have never used a drone, it’s use should be valuable in highlighting unmarked graves in the same way archaeologists see prehistoric / historic patterns during drought periods using aerial photography. A lot depends on what you are setting out to discover.
Michael - I find your question rather vague. At the end of the day a cemetery is just another, or a specific form of, landscape. Of course one can map it with a drone. However, it all comes down to what you specifically want to map or detect. You could be after a detailed 3D representation of those more ornamental cemeteries with elaborate structures, look for certain patterns, but one could also be interested in certain thermal signatures/anomalies, or chemical ones. All of the above are possible.

Norman Kerle you are absolutely right. It is just another form of landscape. I am currently researching and reading how drones are helping cemeteries. I thought it would be beneficial to help local historians create 3D model for genealogy research. Another way to use the drones is to help volunteers For cemetery preservation with a different perspective.
Michael Tucker I love your proposal for applying UAV on cemetery preservation which is with no doubt of some help, while the fact is that there seems to be few major technologic challenges (if the cemetery is not so huge as I expected). However, if some insights or additional potential applications of UAV for some other goals might be more interesting than simply modelling the cemetery. These can be thermal signatures/anomalies as Norman Kerle commented, and also histrical reconstruction with the assisantance of photo archieves (for this topic you may search for 'historic urban landscape modelling'), or the tombstone texture identification for management use (just causal).
Jiaming Na thank you for the insight and information. I will check it out. What a coincidence, yesterday I had a chance to scope out Power Cemetery here which is the first one we decided to do. This one is a small one.
The historical society was doing tree and debris cleanup. I had to do the flight manually because of the trees which some still cover a portion of the cemeteries. I also used my DSLR and tripod to take some perimeter images. I will upload a few images to show what I was seeing and how the area was not taken care of for so many years. I appreciate everyone's feedback and always looking for any ideas that will help.
