So I have two IV, type of aircraft and type of emergency, and it is a within subject design 2 x 3. I did ask the participants if the emergency was surprising, startling, both or none.
For the 3 emergencies, the first one was meant to be surprising, second one was meant to be both, and third one was meant to be none for both aircraft. Participants responded to this question six times.
Now I coded the data as 1 and 0. If there perception is consistent with my desired answer i coded it as 1 and the rest of the data as 0. Now i want to run a check on the data to confirm if the participant perception was consistent with my manipulation.
I tried running Mcnemar test but I cannot interpret the results. So remember I have six nominal variables coded as 1 or 0. Any suggestions?
