Maud refinement problems. Malayaite pigment sample XRD result refined with maud have both sig over 2 and Rwp (%) over 21, why and ways to fix it ?
The problem occured when using Maud software for XRD data refinement. The sample was malayaite pigment, the detected phases are Malayaite (CaSnSiO5, PDF# 86-0928, ICSD# 81635, Laue group 2/m)and Cassiterite (SnO2, PDF# 71-0652, ICSD# 9163, Laue group 4/m). When I finished background and scale parameters, previous + basic parrameters, previous + microstrucutre parrameters, previous + crystal strucutre parrameters, and all parameters for texture, the obtained sig and Rwp (%) are not as expected, such as sig less than 2 and Rwp less than 10. The refined result.par is uploaded too. Here I want to know the reason (why my refinement has such big sig and Rwp) and its way to fix it. Thanks a lot!
