I am looking for an old NCBI function, that I cant seem to find anywhere. When you use to view an NCBI gene, on the right hand side (where they have links to Blast, GEO and other linking tools) there was an option to view the genomic region relative to other organisms. Unfortunately I cant remember exactly what the tool was called, and having clicked on virtually every link it does not appear to be present.

The function would bring up approximately 50 hits of homologous genomic regions. In this list you would see the 2 or 3 flanking genes for all 50 organisms (functionally colour coded tubes you could hover over for more details)

I found this tool extremely handy for finding similar operons (2 or 3 years ago), is it still available ? or has it been phased out for something better ?
